Professional Research Associate
JJ is from Littleton, Colorado and graduated in 2026 with a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado Boulder, with minors in Anthropology and Computational Biology. Before joining the Eichel Lab, JJ worked as an undergraduate research assistant at Vortex Biotechnology and the Voeltz Lab, where he studied endoplasmic reticulum shaping proteins and their interactions with other ER proteins. In his free time, JJ enjoys skiing, camping, and hiking.
